Number three on our list, The WiFi Ultraboost, hit the affordability mark and did its job adequately, but did have some frustrations that knocked its rating down. Once we installed the Ultraboost, we connected all devices and began downloading large files to test speeds. Everything downloaded pretty fast, the installation went smoothly and the WPA2 Encryption made the connection secure.
The frustrations came with losing connection. If we lost internet connection even momentarily (which we normally might not notice), the Ultraboost would need to be manually reconnected. The other WiFi extenders on our list will automatically reconnect which is a huge time saver.
